This one REALLY WORKS. You have to use common sense and move the toe in the direction of the toe sling BEFORE you secure it. Then you can adjust the dial which moves your toe into the correct position. You can even move the joint downward to separate the area between the second and great toe. AAAAHHHH. To finally be able to massage those shortened tendons in between those two toes was heaven. My hands used to get so tired trying to hold them (the toes) apart while massaging. Yes it hurts but it hurts so good and it is worth it in the long run. If you watch videos of people getting massaged between those toes while having the bunion stabilized, you can plainly see there is discomfort. I wanted something that might actually do what it promised, keep my toe straight, even when I stand. This one has the strength to work. And if I work with the 3 straps, I can fit it perfectly to my size 12 foot, so that my big toe is held straight without it cutting into my toe, foot or ankle. I can almost forget I'm wearing it. The bunion corrector is easy to use, and can be used on either big toe. I’ve already had a bunionectomy on my right foot about 6 years ago. I still get pain in my right big toe after the surgery. I wanted to try a non- surgical method to correct the bunion on my left foot. I was able to fit the bunion corrector to my left foot and wear it for 6 hours. The only issue I experienced was walking while the corrector was in place. But easy to re-adjust when I sat back down.
